You Guys Carry On! #Flashfiction

I got married but a strange thing happened. My mother-in-law was sleeping with me since the day we got married, so we decided to meet outside.

We both lied to her and met outside. We went to a city lodge thinking that it would be safe but suddenly at noon the police raided the lodge.

My husband was very scared. When the police inspector asked for identity, I took out the marriage certificate and when they asked me to explain the reason, I told them the whole truth. The police inspector smiled mischievously and said, “You guys carry on.”

Fear #Fable

There were only twelve children in a government primary school. There was only one teacher in that school who was looking all four standards.

One day the children were playing in the veranda during recess and the teacher was sitting in his class eating his tiffin. There was a lot of noise so he came to the verandah to silence the children, he saw a moving sack and the children were dancing around the sack.

The teacher scolded the children and asked, “Where did this sack come from? What’s in it?” Not a single one was ready to speak and open his mouth. Everyone was terrified and silent.

The sack was moving, so the teacher opened it. He saw a third standard student in the sack. The boy was about to faint but the children thought he was making fun. Teacher immediately poured water on him and fed him glucose powder. He was healed and sat up.

The children then told the teacher that the boy had told them that he could stay in the sack for long and so after he went to the sack, the children tied the sack.

Teacher said in his mind, “Thank God, this incident did not happen accidentally.

After this incident, the boy must be afraid of any challenge. Fear might have taken a place in his mind.

Moral: Never go for proof.

Tommy – a faithful dog

Far away from other houses, a farmer was living with his daughter. His hut house had all the comforts. He had a good-natured and beautiful daughter. Her name was Gemma. Gemma was now of marriageable age. Her father was looking for a good boy and he found one good boy for his daughter.

All the preparations for the wedding were done and one day the house was burglarized when she and her father were not at home. All the items bought for her wedding, including jewelry, clothes and some valuable things were stolen.

Coins and notes of British time were at home. The thieves left those coins and notes of British time because they no longer had a price. The shock of looting everything in the house hit her father and he died of a heart attack.

The young man got married without taking anything as well because Gemma was polite, beautiful and understanding.

Now Gemma understood the importance of dogs. She brought a puppy to protect her and her home. Gemma named the puppy Tommy.

Her husband was an engineer on a ship, so he would come every six months and He would return to work immediately after 1-2 months.

To Gemma, Tommy was everything. She used to talk to him. He used to listen to all her joys and sorrows. He used to stay with her. He was a best friend of Gemma.

In a couple of years, Gemma had a cute baby boy and was named Gerald. Since there was no servant in the house, Gemma would tell Tommy to take care of the house and play with Gerald. Overall, Tommy was a special member of their household.

One day, as it was her daily routine, Gemma Gerald’s mother got up early in the morning and went to the fish market to fetch fish. As usual, she told Tommy, “Look, Gerald is asleep. He shouldn’t get up. Don’t make any noise. I’ll get the fish right away, until then take care of him.”and she locked the door of their bedroom from the outside and she left. But today, Gerald got up earlier than usual and began to cry with hunger. He was only two years old.

Gerald was crying, and clapping his hands on the window. Tommy’s heart was pounding when he saw Gerald crying. Tommy stood in a chair by the window, While waiting for Gerald’s mother. His mind was saying, “How come Gerald’s mother hasn’t come yet. An hour has passed, she should have come now. Gerald needs her more than me.

Suddenly he heard footsteps near the door, and he could hear them near and near.

Revenge Part II# Flash Fiction

Shruti left the house with a pistol to kill her husband and end the issue forever. There was a confusion of thoughts in her head.

An ordinary fisherman named Sameer was living in Shruti’s village.

I have expressed his lifestyle in simple language here. In the following rhyme

Ordinary People

Life of the ordinary people
Straightforward and simple
The Sun rises and sets
They’re busy with fishing nets!!

In the low tide they cast nets
When It’s high tide they raise nets
Longing to fill stomach with food
They’re busy with separating seafood!!

As a normal person, people used to tease and use him as they wanted. Shruti’s husband used to take big fish from him and say, he would pay later. He was in debt but not paying.

So Sameer took a sporty but real looking pistol and came to Shruti’s husband’s place, where he is every day, in the building that had Symmetrical arched doors . Sameer’s plan was to intimidate him by showing him a pistol and get his fish money back

#writephoto-Folly

Sameer reached the building that had symmetrical arched doors in the gothic style. At the same time Shruti reached the second symmetrical arched door. Sameer raised a pistol on Shruti’s husband and at the same time Shruti aimed the pistol and shot her husband. Shruti’s bodybuilder husband collapsed to the ground and a stream of blood gushed out of his chest like a fountain.

I have explained Sameer’s miserable situation in this haiku poem.

The sound of gun shot
He smelled gun muzzled near him
And he was puzzled

Revenge Part I #Flash Fiction

Shruti got married and came home with her husband. Her husband’s parents kept their honeymoon in a famous 5 star hotel instead of at home. Shruti’s friends teased her and let her go.”Tell us tomorrow, who among you won,” her friend said jokingly. Somehow Shruti was embarrassed.

Their honeymoon room was decorated. There were rose petals all over the bed. There was soft music in the room. The scent of room freshener was everywhere. There was a pleasant atmosphere everywhere and in a glass bowl in the middle of the room, there were rose petals in rose water and in the middle a pink candle was burning. The edges of the bed were decorated with garlands of jasmine flowers.

She sat up in bed, stunned because she had never worn such a heavy sari and had never worn so many gold ornaments. It was all too heavy for her.

She had not slept the night before because of the large number of visitors. Still, she was eagerly waiting for her husband, dreaming of a happy life.

When she woke up in the morning, her husband was nowhere to be seen. She was alone and there was sleep in her eyes. She got up and looked for him in the washroom. He was nowhere to be seen.

Just then someone knocked on the door of the room and she opened the door. Her husband was standing outside with a bouquet.

#eugi’sweeklyprompt-bouquet

As soon as he entered the room. He said, “You are very proud of money. When I proposed to you two years ago, you scolded me and said, ‘Improve your body and lifestyle and then propose to a girl like me. Now look, I made a body, money and plastic surgery to make you fit. Look, I’m back”. she said, you came back, but we are meeting for the first time”.

He said,”You are a fool and I don’t have time to talk to foolish people.”You can try. I will be here at this spot for the next two hours from now.(he shows her the image), “If you want to apologize and rub your nose on my feet, come on”.( hits the following image on her face)

#writephoto-folly

He didn’t stop to watch her react. He didn’t hear her, threw a bouquet on her face, slammed the door and left.

Shruti didn’t know what to do, so she controlled herself and returned to her parents’ house. Everyone at home started asking, what happened? Is there a quarrel? How did she come alone and why didn’t her husband come? How did you come back without going to your husband’s house? The family bombarded her with questions but she could not hear anything.

She went straight to her room. She took off her heavy clothes and jewelry and threw them into the room. Wearing blue jeans and a black T-shirt, carrying her father’s pistol in her hand, she went out to do black acts. She was angry that her family’s reputation had been tarnished. She was literally trembling with anger. Thoughts were coming to her mind just as fast as she was driving the car…….

I have expressed her feelings like this:

Anger filled in me
I couldn’t wait to meet you
Symmetric building
Left the house with an anger
For tranquility of mind

Memorable Day…

As such, every day is memorable, so good or bad memory determines my mind and my attitude towards it.

The best memories of my life so far:

1. I learned knitting when I was in Standard Six.

2. My article and poem first appeared in a college magazine.

3. I was selected for the B.Ed Congregation Ceremony.

4. I married the boy, I fell in love with a few years later.

5. Became a mother by giving birth to a cute baby girl.

6 When my daughter was young I completed a tailoring and embroidery course because I wanted to sew her nice dresses and now I stitch dresses for me and her.

3D Masks

7. I started working as a teacher in school.

8. I started riding bikes and driving cars.

9. I learned to make soaps, candles, hair oils and herbal oils by watching online videos and reading journals.

Sandalwood soaps
Shea butter soaps
Ubtan soaps
Aloe vera soaps
Herbal hair oil
Candles

10. I’ve been blogging for seven months now.

Good as well as bad memory:

When I had an accident in 2018, both my hands were fractured and my husband took care of me like a baby for three months.

This is me

Bad memories in my life:

1. My father died a year before my marriage.

2. My mother died recently.

I believe that everything that happens in our lives happens for good and for some reason.

Super Hero – Dad

Super Hero – Dad

Nowadays, the kids don’t go out to play. A game usually played at home is Hide and Seek.

Once, Minnie was playing hide and seek with her siblings. She wanted to hide somewhere, but where? She wanted a place where no one could reach, so she chose a barrel. This barrel was kept to use the water outside the bathroom. She easily jumped inside from the bathroom steps. The barrel was half full. She covered the top of the lid so that she would not be found by her siblings.

But no one came to look for her. After a while, she began to suffocate. But because she was small, she could not remove the lid. She was short of oxygen and sweaty. She could hear everyone calling her, but her voice did not reach them.

Her luck was so strong that her super hero dad called her and hit the barrel. When he removed the lid, Minnie was unconscious. Her super hero took her to the nearest health center as soon as possible and with timely help, Minnie reached home safely

But on arrival, she was determined never to play “hide and seek” again.

#Flash Fiction Challenge – Millie’s Cooking Show

The best part of this show is that teams of two go into the kitchen and investigate what is left behind after something has been cooked. Once I was a part of it and we were judged on accuracy and taste.

We found squids, tiger prawns, and a few veggies. We first cooked Prawns and Squids Tentacles Chilli by adding veggies, then stuffed the squids with the chilli. The Judges liked it, as well as the way we added veggies, which may be an advantage to feed kids, who hate veggies. That day our collar was a bit high.

#Three Line Tales – Two identical branches

It was her first day at school, so she arrived at 7.30 a.m and when the peon was opening classes then she went to the side verandah and curiously peeked into the class but she didn’t see the smart class.

She immediately turned back to ask the peon about the classes, but as soon as she turned back, she saw there, it was written,”Dada Vaidya High School”.

She realised that due to nervousness, she told the rickshaw driver to go to”Dada Vaidya School” and not “Dada Vaidya Higher Secondary School”.
