Food Chain..#Poetry #haiku

I had a strong desire
to build my nest myself
and to achieve the construction
I brought twig by twig
from my beak.

Shaped my nest.

My beautiful nest was
on the stump
of a small tree.

One day a snake smelled it
and approached the nest.
He was starving.

I screamed in horror.

The good man,
near whose house I had built the nest,
heard my cry
and took care of my nest
and helped me.
He placed my nest in his gallery.

Now I go there, it feels so safe.

One lesson learned
the stronger eats the weaker
it’s nature’s food chain

Cryptic…#tanka #haiku

Patient’s comma stage
eyes wide open, no response
dramatic visit
doctor calls the patient ‘maa’
soul returns the longest day

It’s a copse of trees
reflected mirror image
shines a cryptic light
