Honesty #Rhyme

The farmer wanted stability,
decided to give his property,
asked to prove superiority,
gave his sons a room that was empty!!

Everyone decided to show capability,
began to find their specialty,
to prove the credibility,
each one had become sticky!!

The eldest son had anxiety,
he thought about the necessity,
filled the room with commodity,
he showed the utility!!

The middle son was snooty,
he didn’t have sobriety,
filled grass and showed quantity,
irritably did his duty!!

Younger son had modesty,
to prove his identity,
he prayed with integrity,
and showed his morality!!

Farmer entered to see disparity,
each one was trying to show capability,
duty was given to community,
judgement was done on quality!!

The youngest son had loyalty,
judges attracted towards purity,
devotional atmosphere and chastity,
especially his honesty!!

I left the camp… #Rhyme

Postal office staff went to camp
everyone who came was a champ
my foot slipped off the ramp
I stuck directly to the clamp!!

The land was slightly damp
and I got a cramp
as there was no light of the lamp
I stamped those coloured stamps!!

I tried to revamp
decided to reduce scamps
hid myself in the gamp
with fear I left the camp!!

Prison! #Poem

Once passing by the prison
Thought came to my mind

Why such a big gate to this building?
and why is this compound wall so high?

I asked the reason
No one told me as, I was child!

I arrived here
Inside this big gate

Why there is no connection with the outside world?
and why outside world takes us as criminals?

I understood everything here
But now it’s too late!

To make easy money
We kidnapped our friend

Why, I didn’t listen to my parents?
and why parents didn’t keep an eye on my friends?

Or else I would’ve not done kidnapping and robbery
In a company of bad friends!

Understood this is a dark life
So, completed further education

Why people don’t accept criminals, when they try to live good life?
and why criminals don’t get a chance to become a good person?

So, to start a good life
I want to wipe the stain!

Leech # Flash Fiction

The water was released from the small masonry dam to the field to grow vegetables

Once the lake dries up, people flock to catch fish. I also went to catch fish and set my foot in the mud and got stuck there.

The more I tried, the more I got stuck in the mud. Suddenly, I saw something on my leg and thought it was a baby snake and screamed.

My limbs began to tremble with fear. I felt dizzy and fell in the mud.

Friends carried me and pulled out the leech which I thought was a snake.
