Three
college friends
lost under the weight
of work
came together in an
unknowable way.
So meeting
each other
was incredible
and unfamiliar
but
their love
for each other
was boundless
and unexplainable.
All three
were invited
for the carnival parade
as judges.
After the meeting,
some memories
of college
came to light.
There was a lot of laughter
and some gossip.
They had learned
the hard lessons
of life
and were relieved
to learn them.
They knew
that everything
was fleeting
and that nothing was permanent.

I too think because death rate is increasing. I got election duty. It’s on 13th and 14th. Two more trainings are left on 4th and 9th. Online training is also given. It’s better we take care.❤️

So you write poetry too! unknowable, unexplainable and you should permanently keep a pen in your hand…
It is amazing how life works and work at living and come back to an unexpected place with familiar lessons…

Yes, of course. I will keep writing. The pen will not release until the last breath. Thanks for echoing me dear🌷

I really enjoyed this poem, Jane! I like how you structured it and the format. I also like that a made some of the words bold — it created an emphasis on those particular lines. I like how the lines are short and straight to the point, yet also detailed. Overall, you created a great image! Great job!
